Camping Trip
For the start of Labor Day weekend, Tim, arranged a camping trip up at Hickory Run State Park. This is the second consecutive year we head there to close out the summer with a group of close friends. It's nice to know we've started this tradition with the intention of some camp fires, good laughs, and awesome memories. On our way up to the campsite we caught glance of this classic car. I immediately grabbed my camera and snapped this shot. Over the week we purchased a DXO 1 a

Date Night
For this week's date night Tim wanted to plan it all out. He's had his eye out on a cute, trendy cafe in Hopewell that he's been wanting to take me to for some time now. The minute we arrived to Brick Farm Market I thought how beautiful it all was! The cafe had a mix of modern chic country feel to it. The brick walls, fresh fruits and veggies was pure happiness to my eyes. My favorite part of location were the details. Each table had fresh cut blue hydrangeas, the colorful me

Dare to be BOLD!
Alright everyone, this post is going to be a bit of a story, and so critical as to why I'm blogging about being BOLD! I promise I condensed as much as possible while keeping the tone of the story true. So sit back and enjoy! :) In 2011 I was accepted into Brigham Young University - Idaho. As a senior in high school while many of my peers where staying local, I dreamt of starting my life out west. I had a feeling that Idaho was going to be the place where I learned who I was,

Fourth of July!
This fourth of July weekend was a busy one! Tim and I first met up with some family friends to celebrate a birthday, and then shot down to Atlantic City for a comedy show. The birthday party was perfect for a little boy. The theme was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and all the family members were decked out in Ninja Turtle gear- from tees down to the shoes. The commitment was no joke! The weather held out that day, which allowed for an awesome BBQ and games. After the party Tim

Grand Cayman
For our first anniversary Tim and I both agreed we wanted to go somewhere tropical. We wanted to explore a new country where we could go swimming in clear waters from sun up till sun down, and mingle with friendly locals. After much contemplation we sat down at our kitchen table one Saturday afternoon and booked two tickets to Grand Cayman! Photo curtesy of Cayman Compass. Grand Cayman is a hidden gem. The minute you arrive to the airport you feel the heat from outside. We e

Ballet for two please.
If there is one thing I love the most is trying new things with my husband. This past weekend my husband, Tim and I took a nice day trip into the city and saw a ballet. I purchased these tickets months in advance and was so excited when the day finally came. I was so excited the night before I made sure to have the tickets ready, as well as my dress, nails, hair, etc. A matinee at the Lincoln Center should not be taken lightly ;) Needless to say the ballet was amazing! The co

Central Park on a Saturday
Alrighty then, so a couple of months ago I booked a family photo session with the most amazingly, talented human known as Lizzy Williams. I came across her work on Instagram and immediately checked to see if she was headed to the East Coast any time soon, and she was! Talk about the excitement on my end. After much anticipation fast forward to a Saturday in May with Central Park as our location, and BOOM! (magic was made) Liz was an absolute gem. We meet bright and early and

Gentle Heart
Newlywed life is quickly approaching year 1. It truly is amazing to see how much work, time, love, compassion, understanding, and effort is required in married life. Married life is learning about each other on a deeper level. Within the first couple of months you learn your partners silly little habits, and routines. You spend more time together, and not only that but work hard to provide for one another. This month I will have been married for 11 months to my darling husban

Life Currently
Hey there! My name is Madeline, and here I am giving the cyber world a shot. I've been wanting to start up a blog for quite sometime now, but didn't have the courage to do so. Luckily, my wonderful husband pushed me enough to create one on our weekend getaway to New Hope, PA. So, watch out world- Madi has come to reveal it all! Currently, I am just barely waking up (9am ish) on a beautiful, comfy bed in the outskirts of New Hope. My husband is getting ready to work out, and I
