Baby Bump Update: 26 Weeks
Size: Baby is as long as a scallion! At nearly 1 2/3 pounds, baby is growing at a lightening speed! And moving a lot more.
Weight gained: At my last doctors appointment I think I've gained roughly 15-20lbs. It's so crazy to see that number go up every visit but as long as I love my body and know that Baby B is growing and is healthy an increase in pounds won't bother this girl. :P
Symptoms: An occasional Charlie Horse here and there (no fun!) and Round Ligament Pain.
Movement: Yes sir! Baby B is showing off his kicks and we are loving it. Baby B is getting more active each day! Every time I try to record him he stops. I think he is definitely camera shy like his papi. Hopefully, that will change ;)
Favorite wardrobe piece to wear right now: Dresses. So comfortable! I'm very much a jumpsuit and shorts kind of gal but it's been hard finding cute pieces. So dresses it is :)
Nursery update…. Tim and I recently started cleaning out our guest room. There's still LOTS of work to do but as least we've started. Haha
1 thing I am currently having trouble with: Sleeping! Because I haven't been sleeping that much I've been cranky. I didn't realize I was, but thankfully Tim did. The other day he suggested I take a nap and run my errands later. I really didn't want to post-pone my chores but I said what the hey- let's see if I fall asleep. Lo and behold, I napped for about 4 hours. Holy cow!
1 moment I loved about this past week: Going on vacation with my husband and mother. It was so nice to get away from the daily grind and just be. I loved waking up to the sound of waves crashing, and tropical birds. It was a wonderful escape.
1 thing I plan to do for myself this week: READ & BE CREATIVE! I am looking into finding good Christian books on motherhood, or anything uplifting really. And being that we are currently preparing Baby B's room its inspired me to update some things around the house.
Food cravings: Croissants, and sausage patties or links smothered with syrup. SO GOOD!
Currently working on: Planning my sister's bridal shower. Just picked the theme and starting to find the decor and all that fun stuff :)
